Wordless Wednesday

Not quite so wordless. My Art History book arrived today. The thing is huge with 1256 pages and weighs a ton. It has 32 chapters about art from the prehistoric stone age in Europe to the International Scene since 1945. It is a beautiful book with 1500 illustrations of which 1216 are in color, 33 maps and 32 time lines. My course is only supposed to cover from the 15th century on. However, after the course I think we will be working our way through the entire book for some time to come. It will make a perfect addition to our home school curriculum.
