Could you narrow down your reading to a favorite genre and author? Why, or why not?
Not at all. I don't have one particular genre that I lean towards. The genres I read are all over the map. If you look at my book shelves, you will see science fiction, christian fiction, romance, suspense, to the classics and non fiction. I have favorite authors and will read anything that author has written, such as Nora Roberts, Mercedes Lackey, Stuart Woods, Ted Dekker, Dale Brown, Linda Howard. I love discovering new authors, new to me that is. What I read varies by my mood as well.
What about you?

I understand about your reading varying by mood...I feel the same way.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely driven by mood and by how complicated life is at the moment I'm deciding what to read next.
ReplyDeleteMy husband wanted me to read a series he use to have by Mercedes Lackey. Something about griffins. I couldn't get into though.
ReplyDeleteRobin,
ReplyDeleteKeeping track of what you read doesn't really take all that much time...
As soon as I've finished a book, I write it in a little book journal (those notebooks that come with a stationary set --see my post about it HERE-- work really well!). Takes only a minute, but saves me TONS OF TIME when I need to remember what I've already read. ;)
Keeping track is also really helpful for book club suggestions! ;)
Thanks for visiting!! You're right it was short. LOL.
ReplyDeleteApart from hristian Fiction, I read pretty much all genres!
ReplyDeleteMy musings
That's the best thing about books - you get to travel so cheaply across such a broad range.
ReplyDeleteAnd poor Dale Brown, he's consistently overshadowed by Dan Brown on those library and bookstore shelves.
