I love that you have the names of the days of the week in Japanese! Don't the names mean things -- like earth day and water day? What are you using to learn Japanese? We're learning Latin, but dh speaks a little Japanese from his college days. Lee (from the WTM board)
Hi Lee. We are using Before You Know it for Japanese language. It has flash cards of words and sentences, plus you write the words. It is simple and fun. We also use some resources off the internet for fun stuff - about.com for writing numbers and words in kangi.
Monday is Moon Day, Tuesday is Fire Day, Wednesday is Water Day, Thursday is Wood day. There is an interesting web site at http://www.cjvlang.com/Dow/dowjpn.html that explains the japanese and chinese meanings.
