2011 Reading Challenges

It's that time of year when all the reading challenges are being announced for next year. I won't be going challenge crazy again for the new year.  I'm limiting myself to three or four (or try to) and will be instituting another buying ban until I've read the majority of my TBR Pile. Books in italics are ideas for the challenges.  The challenges I will be joining are 

Beth Fish Reads "What's In a Name 4"

The goal is between January 1 and December 31, 2011, read one book in each of the following categories:   Completed

Carrie's Ireland Reading Challenge
The challenge runs from January 1 through November 31 and the goal is to read books  written by an Irish author, or set in Ireland, or involving Irish history or Irish characters, Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, audiobooks and children’s books apply.

The committment levels are:  Shamrock level  with 2 books, Luck o’ the Irish level  with 4 books or Kiss the Blarney Stone level with 6 books.  I'm going with the Shamrock Level.

  3. I'm so glad you're joining WIAN4! I'm in the Ireland one too. I think I'm going to pass on the New Authors this year, but I really like that one too.

  4. I went overboard with joining challenges last year (26) and decided to take it easy this year. So far I haven't joined any other than the two that I'm hosting, and I only know of a few that I will join for sure.
