Sunday Salon turned into Monday Meanderings

Happy Labor Day!

My Sunday Salon has turned into Monday Meanderings. Sunday was an blur as James cold took a turn and he spent the day throwing up. I think his ears are infected again so we have a Doctor's appointment for 11:30.

BBAW is quickly approaching so in between trips to the bathroom to hold my poor kid's head, I managed to finish writing up my interview questions for my Interview Partner, Rebecca of Lost In Books. I had come across her blog a couple times, so had a wonderful time reading through all her archives and finding out all kinds of interesting things about her. Speaking of BBAW, the voting booth is open. There are many, many interesting blogs in all the categories and it's going to take me all week just to go through them and make up my mind on who to vote for. Oh, I do have my favorites, of course, but I haven't heard of some of the blogs, so will be checking them all out. Congratulations to everyone who made the short list.

I received a wonderful surprise from J.Kaye of J.Kaye's Book Blog yesterday which helped make my day.

This award is designed with one purpose in mind. Pass this on to other bloggers who have awarded you in the past.

Thank you, J.Kaye and right back at you, babe! I'll be passing this one out a bit later.

I managed to finish reading three whole books last week which are "Touch Not The Cat" by Mary Stewart for Take a Chance Challenge. "Hot Blooded" by Lisa Jackson for the Lisa Jackson Reading Fest. Plus "R is for Ricochet" by Sue Grafton for the Random Reading Challenge. Reviews will be forthcoming.

I will be also reading and reviewing this week a special E-Book written by our own Elana Johnson of Mindless Musing called "From the Query to the Call" which is being launched on September 14th. Just in time for BBAW. I started reading it and so far - very, very good. Look forward to reading the rest of it and sharing all about it.

I also received, courtesy of Miriam from Hachette Books, the non fiction thriller written by James Patterson and Martin Dugard - The Murder of King Tut which is being released September 28th.

Happy Reading!
